Full integration and same subjects as domestic students.

English as an Additional Language Support

  • All students undertake annual bandscale testing and are supported based on their needs.  This may include the student receiving extra support in small specialist class each week. 
  • After school English language support is offered.

    • Australian Homestay Network (AHN) is the homestay provider to St Laurence’s College.
    • The College and AHN work closely together to ensure each international student is placed with a carefully chosen local and loving family who will enrich their stay and provide a safe and supportive environment.
    • Each homestay family provides their student with their own fully furnished bedroom, linen, shared bathroom, wi-fi access for school study and 3 nutritious meals per day.
    • Students are expected to eat meals together with their homestay family and contribute to the life of the family.
    • As approved by the College Principal.

  • International Student Coordinator will review with Principal
  • Letter of Offer/Written Agreement issued
  • Signed Offer received and first Semester fees paid in advance
  • Australian Government Certificate of Enrolment and if applicable Confirmation of Approved Accommodation and Welfare documents issued
  • Student completes English language course
  • Interview
  • Commence
