Find your Heart of Gold at Lauries in 2025!

College News
13 January 2025

St Laurence's College is proud to unveil our five Laurie's Gentlemen who, together, encapsulate our Heart of Gold.

‘Heart of Gold’ is a spirit that’s not easily described but most definitely felt by those who visit our campus.

Whether it be sporting, artistic, academic or community pursuits, the Laurie's Journey has delivered generations of well-rounded individuals going back to 1915.

Each student is chosen to represent an aspect of College life:

  • 2025 Sion House Captain, Ethan Connelly, represents the broad array of opportunities available at the College
  • Year 11 2025 Student, An Huynh, represents Music
  • Year 8 2025 Student, Oliver Pitt, represents Sport
  • Year 6 2025 Student, Tristan Wall, represents the Primary School Journey
  • In recognition of the impact staff and Old Boys have had in the College's story, Mr Nick Lieschke shares his experiences as a student, Old Boy, future parent and as a College Leadership Team member.

As we celebrate 100 years at St Laurence's College, we are excited to share individual experiences which portray how the College empowers students to find their Heart of Gold.
