From the Music Department

Guest String Orchestra Conductor – Loreta Fin AM
Over the past two weeks, the college had the pleasure of welcoming internationally renowned educator, musician, and composer Loreta Fin AM to work with String Orchestra 1 and 2. Loreta, who was recently appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of her significant contributions to music, education, and professional associations, brought a wealth of knowledge and experience. Loreta has also generously donated some of her own compositions to the College.

Speech & Drama Showcases

Congratulations to all the speech and drama performers who excelled during this week’s showcases. Their hard work paid off beautifully, with all lines learned and delivered with confidence and skill.

It has been wonderful to see the huge number of students enrolling in the co-curricular Speech and Drama program. The program's growth has been largely fueled by students’ word of mouth, reflecting the positive experiences and success stories shared amongst peers. The next showcase will be in Term 4.

Combined Schools Workshop & Concert
