AIC Trimester 2 Sports Assembly
The College held our Trimester 2 Sports Assembly on Tuesday. It was a special morning during which over 200 boys were recognised for their achievements in Chess, Cross Country, Football, and Rugby Union. We acknowledged teams that achieved premierships or had "undefeated" seasons, as well as our four "First" teams in each sport. We extend a huge thank you to all staff, old boys, and parents who made Trimester 2 sport possible.
Winter Uniform at Sport
A reminder to all families that students should attend their games on Saturdays in the correct sports uniform for that sport. There is a significant issue during winter, with boys tending to arrive in incorrect jumpers due to the cold weather. It is expected that students wear College jumpers or tracksuits to and during all fixtures on Saturdays.
AIC Round 1
After a good preseason full of action, Term 3 Sport kicks off this weekend, with the College playing Iona in Round 1 of the AIC Competition. Our Senior Basketball and Tennis teams will be playing away at Iona this weekend, with Lauries hosting the Junior Games. In Rugby League, the senior games will be played at Villa Park, and the Junior fixtures will be played at Marist Ashgrove.
