There, you can access up to date resume and cover letter templates, gain insights into work experience opportunities in 2024, explore presentation slides used in information sessions for both students and parents, make a tax file number application and explore university study options while still in school.
QUT Advice Night
Current Year 12 students and their parents/guardians are invited to join QUT online to discover the 5 essentials of getting into QUT in 2025. Find out more about:
- entry requirements
- Year 12 Early Offer Scheme (for Queensland QCE students only)
- adjustment schemes
- upgrading pathways
- scholarships.
They will also hear from real students about their university experiences and have a chance to ask questions about their course, why they chose QUT, the QTAC process, and university life. Click the link to find out more or register.
START QUT Applications Open Now
Year 11 students interested in studying a university subject in Summer (STEM Intensive) or Semester 1 2025, receive a selection rank adjustment, and gain potential credit towards a future degree options at QUT.
Applications for START QUT Summer 2025 (STEM Intensive) and Semester 1, 2025 are open now and close on 31 October 2024. Check eligibility requirements, browse available subjects, and apply on the START QUT webpage.

UQ Young Changemakers Program Applications Closing Soon
Young ChangeMakers Program applications are open.
The program is a 4-day experience that presents Year 11 students with an exciting opportunity for academic extension and enrichment and is centred around igniting young change makers’ passions for leadership, academic achievement and community development in today’s global society.
Dates: Sunday 24 November – Wednesday 27 November
Location: UQ St Lucia campus
