The Australian Defence Force holds information sessions where you can find out what the ADF offers, job prospects, life in the ADF and much more. Fee Free TAFE in 2025

Explore a range of Fee-Free TAFE courses.

Through Fee-Free TAFE, the Australian Government in partnership with States and Territories are providing 480,000 Fee-Free TAFE places between 2023 and 2026. As part of 2024-25 Budget, the Australian Government announced funding for an additional 20,000 construction sector Fee-Free TAFE and vocational education and training places, including up to 5,000 pre-apprenticeship places, to be delivered in partnership with States and Territories from January 2025. 2024 Real Futures Grant

The Real Futures Grant is awarded annually to one person and is worth $5,000. Applications for the 2024–25 grant are now open. Entry is open to residents or permanent residents of Australia who are domestic undergraduates and aged 18 years old and over at the date they submit their entry. Eligibility is limited to those studying a certificate, diploma, degree or traineeship in one or more of the following fields:

Business – including any business-related courses from any institution.

Finance – including actuarial, statistics, accounting and general finance courses.

Medicine – including medical and health sciences, surgery and medical research.

Healthcare – including health and fitness-related specialties, sport sciences, health services assistance and international health.

Specialist healthcare – including nursing, optometry, dentistry and pharmacy.

To enter the Real Futures Grant, your challenge is to write an essay (maximum 700 words) on why you want to work in your selected industry and the difference you hope to make in your particular field of study. Commonwealth Scholarships

There are three types of Commonwealth scholarships:

Student Start-Up Loan – Available to eligible full-time students in higher education who receive Youth Allowance, Austudy or ABSTUDY Living Allowance and you must apply.

Relocation Scholarship – This is an annual payment to help eligible ABSTUDY or Youth Allowance students with their higher education if they have relocated to, or from, a regional or remote area to study. 

Payments and support for Indigenous Australians - You may be eligible if you’re studying or training. ABSTUDY is a group of payments for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students or apprentices.

International College Admissions

Jazz Music Institute: September 2024 and Summer 2025 Jazz Clinics

The clinics are a short course in jazz performance delivered by JMI’s esteemed faculty. Ideal for anyone looking to either start learning how to play jazz or build upon the knowledge they already have. They are delivered in a fun and relaxed environment conducive to learning and growth and are perfect for musicians of all ages and abilities, from young musicians looking for extra musical development to mature age musicians looking to spark their passion for jazz. Clinics are run from 20 - 22 September 2024 and 13 - 16 January 2025. Click here for more information and to register.
