Below are some reminders about Senior School assignment and exams that have been reiterated to students in recent weeks.

Assignment Responsibilities:

• Drafting and final submissions are due to be submitted into Teacher Kiosk at 5pm 
• Late submission of drafts/GOAs will result in an academic detention
• Late submission of final will result in GOA being marked and an academic detention
• The authenticity of submissions can be substantiated and students uphold QCAA Academic Integrity expectations.

Exam Responsibilities:

• Access exam schedules to confirm exam times and locations
• Arrive at exams 15mins before the scheduled start
• Have all equipment ready (2x blue and black pens, highlighters, rulers, charged laptop)
• DO NOT bring in phones or smart watches into the exam
• Go to the toilet BEFORE the exam- no toilet breaks in the first 15 minutes or last 10 minutes of the exam

Exam Conduct:

• Exam conditions from entrance into the exam room
• Do not communicate (verbal/nonverbal) with other students
• Do not leave your seat without permission

Exam Absence:

• Illness: Parents are to contact HOF, teacher and Head of T/L Senior School and provide a medical certificate
• Exam Catch up sessions have been scheduled for Nov 28/29 for approved illness applications
• Unapproved absence due to holidays (Year 10 only) GOA or NR is reported for assessment piece

Assessment exemption or dispensation is not available to students who are undertaking Internal Assessment. Students impacted by illness or unforeseen circumstances can submit a request for an extension with supporting documentation to the relevant Head of Faculty and Head of Teaching and Learning Senior School.
