Breakfast with Industry Professional
Earlier this week we welcomed back Lauries Old Boy Dominic Woodhead to meet with members of our Senior ensembles. Dominic is currently conducting Wicked at QPAC and is both nationally and internationally recognised in Musical Theatre. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to have quality time with an industry professional and learn more about different pathways beyond Lauries. Special thanks to Dominic for making the time to share his musical journey.
Australian Society for Music Education QLD Young Composers’ Competition
Congratulations to Ethan Munns (Year 12) who recently received first place for the Electronic Upper Secondary category of the Australian Society for Music Education Qld Branch Young Composers Competition.
Graduation Mass
Thank you to members of Brotherhood, Little Brotherhood and Worship Band for leading the Graduation Mass music last night. It was a fitting farewell to our outgoing Seniors and we wish our graduating Year 12 Musicians all the best for the future.
