Speech & Drama Showcase

Congratulations to students who performed at the Speech and Drama showcase earlier this week.

The boys performed well, despite nerves, and to see the boys stand a little straighter, exude confidence and clamour for more acting pieces to do has been so enriching.

Students should be extremely proud of work they have put in, the laughter from the audience, and the enjoyment and pride expressed by the families afterwards.

Special thanks to who assisted with the lighting on the night.

We’d also like to acknowledge our co-curricular Drama teacher Ms Duggan for her work with students this year.

Expressions of Interest – 2025 Outback QLD Music Tour

Experience Outback QLD at next year’s Music Tour running 25 June – 2 July.

This all-inclusive 7-night, 6-day Tour will include some unique cultural and service opportunities for students in Years 9-12.

Students will perform for local schools, aged care facilities and at tourist attractions including the Qantas Museum and Stockman’s Hall of fame.

Performing for regional areas can be a very rewarding experience, visiting appreciative communities.

When not performing, students will have the opportunity to visit popular tourist attractions in Longreach, Winton and Barcaldine.
