Christmas Community Giving:

On Thursday we had guests from Vinnies and Micah Projects come to the College to collect all the items that have been so generously donated by families for Christmas Hampers. Both guests shared stories about the people who would benefit from these hampers over the Christmas period. Two weeks ago, our community showed its generosity as our Seniors came through the main Quadrangle during Home Classes and had students place their items in the back of a ute. By the end, the ute was overflowing with items, a testament to our amazing community. The drive has been an overwhelming success this year and we cannot thank our community enough. The hampers provided will help families, who are struggling financially, to be able to celebrate Christmas with their families.

Farewell to the Community

It is with mixed emotions that I bid goodbye to St Laurence’s College. It has been a privilege to be welcomed into this community and the wonderful support families have given so generously over the years. It has been a true honour to serve the community and I will forever hold the staff, students and families close to my heart.
