Combined Schools String Workshop
On Tuesday, members of String Orchestra 2 joined students from St Patrick’s College and Clairvaux MacKillop College for a Combined Schools String Workshop. Students worked together as a larger ensemble, exploring new repertoire and developing their ensemble skills in a collaborative setting. The workshop provided a valuable experience for students to engage with peers from other schools, refine their performance skills, and gain insight into playing as part of a larger orchestral group.
Junior Ensembles Breakfast Concerts:
On Wednesday, the ERPAC Foyer came alive with the sounds of our young musicians at the Junior Ensembles Breakfast Concert. Featuring performances from Concert Band 3, Big Band 3, String Orchestra 3, and Treblehood, the event showcased the progress our students have made in their musical journey.
Special thanks to the unwavering support of parents and families. Your encouragement, early morning drop-offs, and commitment to student’s musical education play a crucial role in fostering a love for music and ensuring students thrive.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success. We look forward to seeing our junior ensembles continue to flourish throughout the year with their next performance Thursday 22 May!
