Primary Photos Week -Year 5 Camp 2025 Our Year 5 camp was a valuable experience that showcased the growth of these young men. Through healthy risk-taking, they tackled new challenges with resilience and determination. They balanced independence with support from one another, strengthening connections and deepening friendships. The camp highlighted positive peer and student-teacher relationships, leaving us proud of their progress. It was a fitting celebration of their growth at the end of their first term on the Lauries Journey—with no doubt, a mountain of wet and muddy gear to wash afterwards!
Primary Photos Week -Year 6 Camp 2025 With the predicted miserable weather delivering as promised on the first day of camp, the boys embraced our motto of ‘Camp not being a Holiday.’ The boys approached challenges with a positive mindset and impressed the teachers and the instructors with their resilience, flexibility and enthusiasm. Tubing was replaced with mud slides, and canoeing with navigating deep potholes on the gorge walk. Many lifelong memories were made and stories that will be retold for years to come. This positivity was rewarded when the Weather Gods showed mercy, and the rain disappeared allowing more free time to play games on the oval, an old Lauries favourite handball or card games -which the boys loved. Congratulations boys on how well you encouraged each other, cooperated with all the adults, used your manners and showed respect for the environment.
