Learning and Teaching at SLC Primary Week 2 Term 1 2025
Welcome, new and retuning families to our Primary community. I’m Jon Tracey, the Head of Learning and Teaching in the Primary School. My role at Laurie’s is to lead the learning and teaching program in the Primary School.
Our dedicated Primary teaching team is committed to leading an academic program that is inclusive, engaging and challenging. We base our programs on the Australian Curriculum, providing a comprehensive learning sequence across all eight learning Areas (e.g. Mathematics and English).
Through collaborative planning, our teachers aim to foster learning growth and success for all students at Laurie’s. In addition to high-quality teaching and learning programs within the classroom, we offer a variety of learning opportunities outside.
