Cabaret Concert "A Night at the Movies"
Congratulations to members of Treblehood who performed at the Cabaret Concert last Friday.
Themed ‘A Night at the Movies’, many students and staff dressed up as their favourite movie characters, adding to the festive atmosphere. The performances were a delightful mix of classic and contemporary film soundtracks, highlighting the incredible talent at Lauries. The night was a resounding success, highlighting the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. Special thanks to Mr Williams and the AV Team and Mr McGeachin and the Media Department for all your help.
Congratulations to our Strings and piano students who took part in the Semester 1 recitals this week. This is always a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their progress and talent in front of peers, family, and friends. The recitals featured a diverse repertoire, allowing students to demonstrate their technical skills and musical expression.
The performances were a testament to the hard work and dedication of our young musicians, as well as the guidance and support provided by their teachers. We look forward to seeing their continued growth at the Semester 2 recitals in Term 4.

The Music Department now uses the College App as our main point of contact with families.
We have redefined the groups under Music and do ask you take a couple of minutes to update your preferences to ensure you receive the relevant notifications for this ensemble.
Note: You will receive notifications for all ensembles under the categories you subscribe to, however it will be clear which ensembles that notification relates to.
Any events that fall outside the usual ensemble routine may require a parent or guardian consent, and if required, an invitation will be sent via parent lounge.
Year 5 parents, please ensure your subscriptions include the Year 5 Music Program under ‘Music.’ Any program updates or performance information will be posted here once available.
