Superchef Update

Our cooks in the kitchen have certainly been busy the past few weeks with Superchef now at the pointy end of the competition! We as a primary have already raised over $950 for Wheelchairs for Kids with the final round still to come next week.

A big thank you must go to all of the boys who have entered the competition, and we have had record numbers – over 90 students have had their food taste-tested by our culinary judges. This is an incredible achievement in itself as we have never had this level of participation before! Year Five led the way this year with around 60 of those students being in that grade. What an amazing level of effort!

Mr O’Toole can attest, as he has literally tried every item, that the quality has been outstanding this year. Be it Ollie’s mousse, Louis’ cob loaf or Sid’s sausage rolls – students really have done a great job. Thanks must also go to all care givers at home for taking the time, energy and effort to help the students out.

Thanks also to the Mini Vinnies crew for giving up so many morning teas to make this happen.

We wait now for Thursday’s Superchef Final. Who will win what has been an amazing competition?
